Earlier this week, at PC Gaming Show, the Perfect World sponsor revealed a brand-new trailer for Gunfire Games’ new third-person survival shooter - Remnant: From the Ashes.

A world full of monsters

The game sets in a world where the apocalypse happened. Monsters are everywhere and have overrun the entire world. That being said, it all depends on you and your partners to take them down and save the world. Let’s take a look at the game trailer below:

Team up with your friends

The devs of the game really showed interest in creating the Souls feels, making huge, monstrous bosses with big attacks for players to dodge. As a matter of fact, you can enjoy Remnant on your own, in solo mode. However, as recommended by Gunfire themselves, you’d be better off playing co-op, just to increase the chance of not dying.

Monstrous bosses and enemies ahead! Team up with your best buddies to increase your chance of survival.

From the trailer above, we can see an enemy grabbed a player, raised them like animals and was about to slaughter them. In that case, it’s probably a good idea to have a companion or two alongside.

A unique generation system

Furthermore, at the PC Gaming show, Gunfire games’ CEO David Adams did have a talk about Remnant’ procedural generation.

According to Adams, it was an extremely dynamic system of generation that makes Remnant outstanding. The team at Gunfire generated the map, the quests, the bosses, the NPCs, and everything. They hand-scripted it all but the generation system was to collect the pieces and combined them all together.
