A new report claims Bloober Team’s remake of the original 1999 Silent Hill is targeting a 2027 release, with the first casting details now circulating.

Release Target and Project Status
According to MP1st, the game is aiming for next year under the casting codename Project Noise. Development has reportedly been underway for some time following the official announcement at Konami’s Press Start event in June 2025. Neither Konami nor Bloober Team has confirmed the window, so the date remains a target rather than a locked schedule.
The timing would align with Konami’s stated goal of releasing roughly one Silent Hill project per year, following Silent Hill f in 2025 and Townfall in 2026.
First Reported Cast Members
The report names two UK-based actresses attached to major roles:
- Gabrielle Fritz: Prior game credits include Battlefield 2042 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, plus performance capture work.
- Jade Matthew: Known for British television and voice work, including the MMORPG Dragon Nest.
Specific characters have not been confirmed. Speculation centers on key supporting roles from the original, such as police officer Cybil Bennett, nurse Lisa Garland, or cult leader Dahlia Gillespie. No casting details have surfaced for protagonist Harry Mason.
About Silent Hill 1

Silent Hill is a landmark 1999 psychological survival horror video game developed by Team Silent and published by Konami for the Sony PlayStation. It is the inaugural game in the acclaimed Silent Hill franchise.
Writer Harry Mason travels to the resort town of Silent Hill with his adopted daughter, Cheryl. After swerving to avoid a mysterious figure on the road, Harry crashes his car. When he wakes up, Cheryl is missing.
Harry explores a foggy, abandoned version of the town that periodically shifts into a nightmarish, blood-soaked "Otherworld".
Context and Caveats
The remake follows the commercial success of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. Fans should treat the 2027 target and cast names as unconfirmed until official statements arrive from Konami or the developer. Further updates on platforms and additional cast are expected as production continues.
