At this year TGS, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for their upcoming title Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. This video trailer is quite unique, in fact. Instead of showing like normal gameplay or game cutscenes, it revealed in-the-work cuts and drafts of various lines, scenes, and game screens. Therefore we have a storyline trailer which gives us the progress of it being made:

The trailer

This trailer features Asuna(fan-favorite) and Cardinal, as fan bonus. Of course, alongside with the main cast of Alice, Eugeo, and Kirito. It will be exciting to see the role of Asuna in the main plot, considering that she didn't appear in the anime - Alicization. Another character who was not in the anime is Medina - the original heroine who has appeared in a trailer recently. Given these two characters, the plot of the series has been surely alternated.

From a live stream recently, we know that players could switch control of Alice or Kirito at any time. Plus, the characters could use Battle Skills, Sword Skills, and Sacred Arts. Alicization Lycoris also has a great weather system, but we don't have much information on that system for now. But it seems to be a fascinating mechanic.

You can also chain your characters skills together to make a Chain Burst and increase the output damage.

The map also has lots of icons indicating things like ongoing quests, relics ... which you could also use to perform fast-travel. And similar to the Hollow Realization title, you could give order to your team members. You can also chain your characters skills together to make a Chain Burst and increase the output damage.
