Square Enix is going to launch the Remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 with the name Trials of Mana for our favourite Switch early next year. Nintendo has released this news on Tuesday during the E3 Direct event of the company.
Seiken Densetsu 3 is the 3rd instalment in the Mana franchise. Square Enix released this game exclusively for the Eastern market on the SNES system long ago. Now they announced that they would rebuild this game entirely with a more modern 3D graphics. They want to make it into an action-RPG game complete with new skill and levelling systems.
In this game, you will create a team of 3 members (choose from 6 characters offered). Each combination will make significant changes to the narrative of the game.
Collection of Mana
Moreover, the original Seiken Densetsu 3 game is available right now in the Collection of Mana package on the Switch market. This package includes Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy Adventure, and Seiken Densetsu 3. It will give the fans a chance to try out for the 1st time outside of Japan the original game and the foundation for the upcoming remake of next year. The Collection costs $39.99 on Switch.
The other remakes
But this game is not the only remake gets announced in the Direct event of Nintendo. There is also the remake of Panzer Dragoon, a Sega Saturn which launched initially in 1995. The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will also coming to Switch this September.
For Trials of Mana, aside from the Switch, Square will also publish this game on Steam and PS4 at the same time.
