To be specific, a sample taken from PlayStations showed 72.5 colony-forming bacteria units, which is 2.4 times higher than a swab from the toilet seat. On average, a swab from a median mouse shows 247.5 colony-forming units, nearly the same as on a kitchen’s surface.
