Road to the PUBG Mobile ESL Vodafone 5G Mobile Open in Milan seems to be “rocky” for the 3 Indian teams. Synergy Gaming, Orange Rock Esports, and Entity Gaming are the 3 chosen names to represent India in the $132,000 (~92 LAKH) PUBG tournament. They finished first in their qualifier round to enter the list of attendants.

A recurring problem

However, a new problem arose as all the 3 teams are facing visa issues. Whereas Synergy Gaming is likely to make it, Entity Gaming and Orange Rock Esports seem to be facing problems. Rumor has it that many players from both the squads have had their visas denied.

Earlier this week, Synergy Gaming has managed to field the popular streamer Gunshot as a replacement for a denied visa player.

However, for Entity Gaming and Orange Rock Esports, no solution has been proposed. Some players are still pending for their visa while other players have already got rejected.

Entity Gaming players are also having visa problems

Moreover, both Entity Gaming and Orange Rock Esports are having a schedule conflict. The ESL Vodafone 5G Mobile Open in Milan will kick off on September 29. However, it overlaps with the PMCO South Asia Group stage which will pan out from September 24 to 29.

Seems like the best solution is to forfeit the Milan event and play in the PMCO South Asia Group stage

The schedule conflict means that both squads may miss out many qualifier rounds and run the risk of being disqualified from the tournament. This is a high risk for both squads. It seems like Entity Gaming and Orange Rock Esports have already realized it and started playing in the PMCO South Asia Group stage instead of the PUBG mobile event in Italia.
