A battle royale tournament
The Free Fire tournament – Asia Invitational has recently been announced. The event will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 7 with a prize pool of $50,000 (₹35 LAKH). Along with the announcement, the Indian Qualifiers were also coming up. Two highest-ranked teams in the qualifiers will get their tickets to the main event.
Free Fire is a free battle royale game issued by Garena - a digital entertainment platform headquartered in Singapore. Garena is most popular in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, developing and publishing mobile and PC games. Garena's first self-developed title, Free Fire is a mobile battle royale game which was the second most downloaded game on the Google Play store in Q4 2018. The game is somewhat similar to PUBG in term of graphics and gameplay.
The LAN event will include many teams from many countries in Asia. From now on, you can register for the event. Registration is open till August 13. Be quick to get your name on the list to get the chance for this exciting Free Fire event.
The Qualifier
The Indian Qualifiers will go through many stages online. Points will be used to determine the winner. Each kill in the Free Fire qualifier will yield a staggering score of 20 points. The more you kill, the higher chance you get qualified for the event. Also, the end game standing will add more bonus points to your total point as follow

As you can see, the point reward for placement is rather low compared to the kill rewards. The qualifiers seem to focus more on players’ killing capacity rather than surviving. Being the last man standing is only worth 1 and a half kill.
So, you if want to get qualified for the $50,000 Free Fire tournament, get ready to hunt for heads. If many teams have the same score, the end game standing in the last round will be the deciding factor. However, the chance that happens is low considering the high amount of point you get by killing.
