PUBG Mobile’s a heavyweight in the Battle Royale scene, and its mobile version gets just as much love. This year, it’s part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is a massive event with a bunch of esports tournaments, plus a festival with fan meetups, live shows, and smaller comps for up-and-comers.
PUBG Mobile at the 2025 Esports World Cup
Last year, PUBG Mobile was a launch title at the EWC, and Brazil’s Alpha7 Esports crushed it, winning 5 of 18 rounds and pocketing over $467,000. They set the bar high. The game’s locked in for 2025 and at least 2026, with two weeks of intense mobile Battle Royale action. PUBG Mobile’s a giant in mobile esports, even outshining the original PUBG in viewership. The best players will be duking it out for that chicken dinner in Riyadh.
How Much Cash Is on the Line?
The 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup has a $3 million prize pool, one of the biggest for any single game at the EWC. The top teams will split it based on their final rankings.
