The Android scene last week welcomed some pretty interesting 2D action titles. On top of that, we also got a new JRPG and a point-and-click adventure game based on a TV show. Let’s get into the details:

Dark Sword 2

Dark Sword 2 is a 2D action-RPG with a silhouette art style set in a world that has been dominated by mechanical monsters. You will control a group of female cyborg warriors to fight in the name of humanity. There are 4 playable characters in total, each with unique abilities.  There’s also a co-op mode, allowing you to team up with 2 other friends.

First Summoner

First Summoner is a new strategy RPG that tries to go against the streams of autoplay titles that we see too many of on the mobile scene these days. The game puts you in full manual control over everything, meaning you’ll have to know what you’re doing in order to come out on top. There are several game modes including a story campaign, a roguelike dungeon, and PvP.

Bombastic Brothers: Top Squad

Bombastic Brothers – Top Squad is another 2D action game inspired by the classic run-and-gun action games of the 80s. Nasty insectoid aliens have invaded the world and taken Captain Jeff’s beloved corgi from him, so now he and his gang set out with their expansive arsenal of guns to get the dog back, blasting hordes of aliens to seven hells in the process.

It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile

It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile is a point-and-click adventure game based on the popular comedy TV show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. You’ll follow the familiar characters from the show as they partake in some shady businesses to make money, enjoying some incredibly hilarious moments as you watch their weird and wacky plans unfold.

Project Zero Deaths

Project Zero Deaths is yet another 2D shooter, yet one that focuses on multiplayer. Think of it as Worms, just in real time. You pick from seven playable characters to fight against other players, trying to eliminate them and become the last one standing. The developer claims that this one will put players’ skills to the test, so there will be no paying your way to victory here.

Asdivine Kamura

Asdivine Kamura is a new addition to the JRPG series Asdivine by KEMCO. A powerful being known as Zaddes has appeared and begun altering the world, which, of course, is not a good thing. Stepping into the shoes of the Spirit Deity Shiki, you will team up with several female companions to put an end to that plan.
