Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Square Enix announced several mobile games, the first of which is a remastered version of the 2004 GameCube game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle. The game is about a group of heroes who try to restore the Giant Crystal after it was destroyed by a meteor a millennium ago. Square Enix has had an excellent history of porting its Final Fantasy games to other platforms, so we have reasons to expect that Crystal Chronicles mobile will be the same. However, it's likely to be quite expensive like the rest of its brethren, so don't be surprised if it ends up costing $15 or more.
Gears POP!
Of all the mobile games announced at E3, Gears POP! is likely to be the first one we'll get our hands on, as it's already up for pre-order. The game is the collaboration between Funko Pop and the Gears of War, and it is a small arcade shooter along with a few strategy features, all of which presented in a cutesy art style. The features include simple gameplay, more than 30 characters in Gears of War, online PvP mode as usual and special abilities. The game shares nothing in common with Gears of War and its pacing is a little slow, however. Nevertheless, as a free, easily-accessible mobile game, it ought to work decent enough as a timekiller for the series’ fans.
Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad
This game marks the first time the popular franchise has ventured into the mobile game world. The game will include all the usual game modes such as single and multiplayer as well as PvP. Also, some gacha elements are present and it is possible for players to accumulate characters from the previous Tom Clancy games. Even though it can’t be compared to the console titles, for those who are into this franchise, it’s not too bad of an arcade action game. The PvP mode is 5 versus 5, thus, players can choose to play against or with many other players. Like Gears POP!, users can also pre-register now if interested, however, that can only be done through the official website.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a mobile Role-Playing Game (RPG) with an unexpectedly good storyline, soundtrack, and many gacha elements. Now, this new game War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which was originally revealed late last year, is set in the same universe. It will have an entirely different storyline, however, and the gameplay will be more of a strategy-RPG like Final Fantasy Tactics. The original game has gained intense popularity and is among the best gacha mobile games, so War of the Visions is expected to follow that success.
