Purgatory, the second map of Garena Free Fire, has just been added back into the ranked mode in-game, after being removed from the game for a few months. Apparently, Garena did it to ensures the new map, Kalahari, would get enough players. However, the plan somewhat failed, as fans were not happy, with a lot of people asking for them to add Purgatory back.
With the ranked mode being random between three maps now, knowing a few secret hiding places would definitely give you an edge over other people who haven’t been playing the map for a while. In this list below, we would list out the top five Free Fire hidden places in Purgatory.
Table of Contents
- 1 - Top of the buildings in Central’s South side
- 2 - Top of the trailer near Brasilia
- 3 - Top of the Crane-like Structure on the South of Marbleworks
- 4 - The three buildings on the north side of the Golf Course
- 5 - The Crane-like structure on the Forge
- 6 - Free Fire Hidden Places In Purgatory Map: Verdict
1 - Top of the buildings in Central’s South side
This is one of the three hottest drop locations on the map and is pretty popular to rush style player. The location is filled with two-story houses, in which you can find a decent amount of loot. While this location is usually packed, there is a way to get to a vantage point that no other enemies would be able to detect and shoot at you.
Firstly, you would need to throw a Gloo Wall Grenade at this location, right next to the wall.
Jump onto the top of the Gloo Wall, get on top of the grey roof. You can either camp here or get onto the red roof nearby.
While on the grey roof, throw another Gloo wall on the side of the wall, right under the Red Roof. Jump on top of that to get onto the red roof. This vantage point would let you control the whole area and get kills.
2 - Top of the trailer near Brasilia
With Brasilia being literally in the center of the map, camping in the vicinity would definitely net you kills, as people would be moving around to chase the circle. By using this trick, you can get onto the top of an unassuming trailer in the middle of nowhere and ambush anyone who come across.
Firstly, you need to create a Gloo Wall at this spot.
Jump on the connect point of the trailer and keep jumping toward the corner where the Gloo wall connects with the trailer to get on top of it.
After you got on top of the trailer, you can go prone and wait for people to come.

3 - Top of the Crane-like Structure on the South of Marbleworks
Another strategically advantageous location in one of the most crowded places in the game - you would need 2x Gloo grenades for this, so make sure to acquire them first before trying to do this.
Firstly, get up the stairs and walk to the area right next to the booth. Throw 2x Gloo walls, one a bit higher than the other to create a stair.
Jump on top of the handrail to get onto the top of the Gloo walls - using them to climb on top of the booth.
Jump on top of the structure that connects the booth with the crane, then leaps to the other side to get onto the crane itself.
Afterward, you would be able to get control of the whole area by just going prone - enemies would not be able to guess where you are.
4 - The three buildings on the north side of the Golf Course
While the Golf Course is not exactly a hot area, it is surrounded by all three of them, with a high chance of becoming the last zone. You can pick off stragglers who wander off from the three hot spots as well.
However, this is more of a hiding spot than camping, as you would not be able to fire while inside a vehicle.
Firstly, get a Sports car and drive it onto the bottom of the red house like this.
Enter the car. You would be able to see everything inside the building while enemies would not be able to see you. This is more of a hiding spot than anything - if you encounter an enemy, you can either immediately get out of the car and shoot or just drive away.
5 - The Crane-like structure on the Forge
The same trick used on the Marbleworks Crane can be applied on the Forge Crane to climb on top of it. The Forge has less traffic than Marbleworks, however - you might not be able to score as many kills like the one in Marbleworks.
