Despite the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown order of the Prime Minister in India, the Free Fire India Championship still managed to be carried out by hosting all the matches online. The matches have been finished a few weeks ago, but due to some problems with cheating teams in the tournament, there have been some recalibrations.
Entity Gaming, previously known as Team Nawabzaade, is still on the top of the Free Fire India Championship 2020 League Stage. Team Dessert God was disqualified from the tournament for smurfing and thus the second place belonged to Team NAMOONEY instead. However, recently, 8Bit Gaming has acquired Team NAMOONEY so they will be called team 8-Bit from now on. Team Fatal 4 also got picked up by Stalwart Esports and changed their name.
The Free Fire India Championship 2020 League Stage is to pick out the top 12 teams for the Free Fire India Championship 2020 Grand Finals. Here is the list of the finals teams: Entity Gaming, 8-bit, Bandra 50, Team Nightmare, Stalwart Esports, Devil Dad, Team Arya, Kingz God, The Mafia's, Western Tiger, Fab Soul, Atp Kings.
However, due to the complicated situation of the coronavirus outbreak, the date for the Free Fire India Championship 2020 Grand Finals is currently unknown. As soon as the situation gets better in India, the date will be announced by Garena.
