Free Fire OB35 Update: Expected File Size, Server Downtime, And More!

The OB35 update of Free Fire is coming out later today, and excitement is at an all-time high. Based on the reveals in the Advance Server, Garena is going to add three new characters in this patch, alongside a new weapon called Bizon. There would be an upgrade to the replay function - players can now watch highlights of the best actions in each match.

It is expected that the server would be shut down today for about 10 hours of maintenance. Players would not be able to access the game while the server is down. Below are the projected timings for the server downtime:

• Start time: 9:30 am IST (GMT +5.30)
• End time: 5.30 pm IST (GMT +5.30)

Players should take this with a pinch of salt, as Garena has not officially revealed the maintenance time and the info is based on the past few updates. They are likely going to reveal the exact start and end time soon.

Free Fire OB35 update expected file size

Overall, similar to previous patches, both versions of the game (Free Fire and Free Fire MAX) will feature the same update. Players can expect the update size to be around 400 to 500 MB for Android users and 500 to 600 MB for iOS users.

• Open the Google Play Store or the App Store, depending on the device. Click on the search bar and type Free Fire MAX.
• Choose the most relevant result and click on the update button to install the newest version.

• Sign in to the Free Fire MAX account and continue enjoying the game.

Upon downloading the new patch, players will receive the following rewards:

• 2x Weapon Royale Vouchers
• 2x Diamond Royale Vouchers
• 2x Pet Food
• 150x Universal Fragments

The above rewards will only be available between 20 and 23 July. Players should redeem them immediately after logging into the game.

New CS season

After the new patch is out, a new Clash Squad season would soon be available. Once it starts, all previous ranks will be reset and players need to start climbing the tiers again.  The reward for this season is the Golden AC80 skin.
