Genshin Impact 4.0 has emerged as a standout among the recent updates, marking a significant success for the franchise. With a couple of weeks passed since its launch, players may not have completely caught up with every Archon questline and storyline as of late. And yet, they are already eagerly awaiting Genshin Impact 4.1.
The upcoming update is slated to introduce fresh storylines, delving into the secrets of the Teyvat world. Alongside these narrative additions, new banners and exciting events are on the horizon. Here's your guide to what Genshin Impact 4.1 has in store.
Genshin Impact 4.1 release date
The upcoming version of Fontaine in Genshin Impact 4.1 is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2023, and will last until November 8, 2023. If it all goes according to plan, the first phase will run from September 27 to October 18, while the second phase will take place from October 18 to November 8.
Just like the Genshin Impact 4.0 banners, each version would last 42 days and is divided into two 21-day phases.
Genshin Impact 4.1 banners
The recent Drip Marketing update has officially confirmed that Genshin Impact 4.1 will showcase Wriothesley and Neuvilette in its banners.
Wriothesley is set to wield the power of Cryo with a Catalyst, while Neuvilette, the Chief Justice of Fontaine, will harness Hydro using a Catalyst.
The developers have shared insights regarding the banners of update 4.1. The first part of Genshin Impact 4.1 features Neuvillette and Hu Tao. In the subsequent segment, players can anticipate Wriothesley sharing the spotlight with Venti.
The first phase reintroduces the Staff of Homa and releases the signature weapon for Neuvilette - Tome of Eternal Flow. In the following phase, Venti's distinctive bow, Elegy for the End, along with a weapon tailored for Wriothesley, could likely take the spotlight.
Genshin Impact 4.1 new bosses and enemies
Grapevines also indicated that there will be a pair of fresh bosses.
Leaked images have emerged showcasing these upcoming opponents. These bosses are expected to offer materials necessary for ascending characters such as Neuvilette, Wriothesley, and more available units.
One of these formidable bosses reportedly wields dominion over gravity, employing gravity-altering mechanics to unleash area-of-effect (AoE) assaults that can stagger players.
The second boss in Genshin Impact 4.1 is the Millenial Pearl Seahorse which can be found in the subterranean expanse of the Fontaine domain. This electro-elemental boss shares its electric prowess with the Blubber Seahorse.
Besides these bosses, the Seneschal of Frost and Seneschal of Wind will also join the game. As their titles imply, these enemies are aligned with the Cryo and Anemo elements respectively. They promise to add new dimensions of challenge to the game's battles.
Fontaine map expansion
Genshin Impact's Fontaine map is expected to undergo an expansion towards the eastern direction, encompassing the currently incomplete sections of the map.
