Genshin Impact features an elemental system with 7 elements that react with each other to create different effects. With the addition of new Dendro characters in the upcoming update, players will now have more options and playstyle for their team.
Many players are wondering how the new Dendro element will react with other elements in Genshin Impact. Recently, a Reddit user made Dendro Reaction Chart based on the 3.0 Beta version. Dendro elemental reactions will be a little bit more complicated than other elemental reactions.
Basically, Dendro elemental reactions will create Bloom Seeds or apply the Catalyze status to enemies, which can create further elemental reactions with other elements. Let's take a look below for more details.
All Dendro Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact
- Dendro + Electro (Catalyze): This reaction will add bonus damage to the enemy the reaction and apply the Catalyze status to them.
- Dendro + Pyro (Burning): The Burning reaction has been in Genshin Impact for a long time. It will create a burning ground that deals damage over time to characters in the area.
- Dendro + Hydro (Bloom): This elemental reaction will create Bloom Seeds, which will create further reactions with other elements.
- Bloom Seed + Electro (Hyperbloom): Create a homing projectile that deals Dendro damage to a single target.
- Bloom Seed + Pyro (Burgeon): The Bloom Seed will create an explosion, dealing with Aoe Dendro damage when it contacts Pyro.
- Catalyze + Electro (Aggravate): Add bonus damage to the Denro attack that triggers the reaction.
- Catalyze + Dendro (Spread): Add bonus damage to the Electro attack that triggers the reaction.
We don't see Dendro elemental reactions with Cryo, Anemo, and Geo in this chart. These 3 elements will not react with Dendo in any way at all.
