Character Training Guide Previews

The game publisher miHoYo has announced that the new "Training Guide" feature will be added to Genshin Impact in Version 4.5. This feature gives users suggestions for the optimal Character Level, Artifacts, Weapon selection, and Talents based on the data from the character build of recently active players.

Here are the details displayed in the 'Training Guide' for each character and weapon.

#1. Character Level

This feature will show you if your character should be upgraded or not. If you see the red icon on the Character Level tab when checking each character, you must level up that character.

It also suggests to players which character ascension materials, character level-up materials, Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials, and local specialties are necessary for each character and weapon.

Besides, the new feature also shows you the farming locations of those materials beside each type as well as the amount of Original Resin you must use for the material in certain domains.

#2. Weapon

The new feature will show players the weapons with high, medium, and normal use rates. You can choose the weapon picked by most players and the optimal level of the recommended weapon. If the weapon is collectible, the Training Guide will show the shop to purchase it.

#3. Artifacts

The artifact tab also suggests some highly recommended Artifact sets for the selected characters. You can select one of those artifact plans for your character.

#4. Character Talents

Genshin Impact players can also learn from recently active characters the talents to level up and require materials. You can tap on the Navigation button beside the talent level-up materials to quickly move to the domain to farm them.

Character Level-Up Interface Enhancements

Apart from the new feature, miHoYo also unveiled some new enhancements in the interface of the character Level-Up screen. You can see the number of required materials for ascension on the Level-Up screen, not on the Pop-up box. It reduces the actions you have to do when leveling up characters.

Should I Trust the Training Guide?

The Dev team of Genshin Impact proclaimed that the weapon and artifact for the selected characters are only suggestions for you. They only display the gears most used by recently active players, not the suggestions by the Dev team.

This new feature can be useful to some extent.

You can trust these suggestions when building old characters that Genshin Impact veterans have mastered and built well for optimal power. But it would be best to build new characters based on your experience and gear's stats.
