Genshin Impact 2.4: Best Gorou Team Comp (Geo Support)

Gorou is a 4-star Geo Bow character in Genshin Impact. He made his debut in the 2.3 version, alongside Itto, a Geo DPS character. Gorou's kit focuses on buffing DEF and Geo DMG bonus to the team, which makes him the perfect support for a pure Geo lineup. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the best Gorou team comp for Geo Support.

While Gorou can also deal good damage with burst that have a DEF scale, the skill has a high energy cost and require players to build Energy Recharge to be effective.

1. High-End Gorou Team Comp (Pure Geo)

Gorou is the main support in this lineup. If you have pulled for Itto, chances are that you already have Gorou at a high constellation level. At C4 he can even unlock heal, which makes your Geo lineup even more durable.

Gorou + Itto team

Itto is the main DPS of the squad. His role is to deal damage by spamming his Charge Attack. Albedo's role is the sub DPS who deals damage off-field with elemental burst.

Gorou is the main support of the team. He maximizes Itto and Albedo's damage by providing DMG bonus and DEF bonus. With the Archaic Petra set, Gorou can provide even more Geo DMG bonus by picking up crystals (35%).

Zhongli is pretty much a flex pick in this lineup. In a full Geo team, his shield is pretty much unbreakable, especially with support from Gorou. He can also increase the whole team's attack with the Tenacity of the Millelith full set.

Noelle DPS team

If you don't have Itto but your Noelle is at a high constellation, it might actually be a good idea to main her instead. Gorou is still the main support of the team, who provides Geo DMG bonus and DEF bonus. This maximizes Noelle's damage the same way as Itto when she activates her burst.

Albedo's role in this comp is sub DPS, providing extra off-field damage with his burst. Zhongli can actually be replaced with any support you want, as Noelle main can continuously keep your team HP over 90%.

It is possible to run Noelle alongside Itto as well - you can alternate between them as their bursts cool down.

2. Mid-Tier Gorou Team Comp

Ningguang DPS team

Ningguang is the main DPS in this team comp, with the support of Gorou damage boost and Noelle's shield. Fischl's backstage Electro support can provide Ningguang with extra damage and triggers.

Players can actually replace Fischl with any support they want. Even a vanilla choice like Bennett could be very effective with his AoE DMG buff and heal. Just make sure that there is a shield character in the team, as Ningguang is a little bit squishy and needs to be protected.

Albedo Gorou team

This team comp focuses on boosting Albedo's Geo DMG using Gorou, Ningguang and Kazuha.

Albedo is the main DPS in this squad, dealing damage using his elemental burst and skill. Ningguang can easily take down enemies and push them back into Albedo's Elemental skill with her normal attack.

Gorou provides both characters with Geo DMG boost and Def boost. Lastly, Kazuha's role is to provide crowd control, grouping enemies up for Albedo to place his Elemental skill. Kazuha also boost Albedo's elemental dmg.

3. F2P Gorou Team Comp

This lineup is designed for complete f2p and new players who want to build around Gorou's support potential. This is how you can make Gorou more effective even with a free squad.

Overall, Gorou would be the Def and Geo Support of the team, backing Noelle up to be the main DPS and healer. Geo Traveler can provide energy with his elemental skill and damage with his elemental burst. Even in a free-to-play comp, Gorou's buffs are substantial enough to guarantee 3 Geo characters instead of the usual 2.

Kaeya will enable Crystallize and provide the team with off-field Cryo Support.
