Currently, Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale is pretty much the most played game mode in Call of Duty, with multiple twists and tricks that differentiate itself from the main competitors in the India market, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Fortnite. The main twist that it has is probably the Class system. Every player who participates in the Battle Royale would have their own class, with its own strengths and weaknesses. Currently, there are six classes in Call of Duty: Clown, Defender, Mechanic, Ninja, Medic, and Scout – people have been playing them and familiarizing themselves with the strategy and counters. This time, with the Airborne Chip event to unlock another class, Call of Duty: Mobile’s developers have decided to spice it up with a brand new class called “Airborne”.
To get this new class, you would have to beat a Challenge event, which is also a limited time, so you better start doing it soon. With all the hoops you have to leap through, you would probably want to ask this question: What is so special about this new class? Well, our guide below would tell you everything about this class and how to use the new ability to its fullest potential.
The unique ability of the Airborne Class is “Ejection Device”, which create a catapult to launch you and your teammates into the air. It is rather similar to Apex Legend Octane's "LaunchPad" ability, as they both give unparalleled mobility to the player. With the help of the wingsuit, you would gain a precious few seconds to take note of the current situation of the battlefield and relocate yourself to the best location possible for further Assault. Below are the top 3 applications that the catapult could be used for:
1 – Scout the Battlefield
When you are flying in the air in your wingsuit, you would be able to do a quick assessment of your surroundings and the level of threat it poses. On the battlefield, information is key. Locate enemies, ambushes, vehicles or even loot would definitely be a big help to you and your team in conquering the battlefield.
2 – Taking down your enemies by surprise
In shooters, players often focus on the horizontal area around them and pay less attention to vertical assaults. This is definitely something that you should take into considerations while mounting an attack using this class. Glide then land somewhere that has the high ground advantage, such as the top of a building, would give you a decisive edge over your enemies. And in a shooter, the one who shoots first wins. With this in mind, you have to be careful about your enemies’ own Airborne class too, as they can also employ this strategy. Move slow and careful when near buildings, as your cover might not be as good as you thought it should be when the attacks come from a different angle.
3 – Increase you and your team’s mobility
With the ability to glide in the air, you and your squad would be able to move around unhindered at an extremely high speed. So many things that could be done with this ability, as it could aid you in getting to the safe zone faster, or even contest a strategic location to set a trap to your enemies that come after you. The final use for the catapult is probably for escaping. With that ability, you can easily get out of the hot zone in seconds – and running away is definitely better than dying, as you would be able to live to fight another day.
