PUBG Corp. and Tencent Games' popular Mobile Battle Royale game is going to roll out its 0.15.0 update soon. The reason behind the fans’ anticipation for this patch is that this would be the first major update after PUBG Mobile’s Royale Pass Season 9 starts. With Halloween coming soon, it is expected that there would be a Halloween event update included in this patch. We will list out all the significant updates that are going to be added to this new version of PUBG.
PUBG Mobile’s Halloweeks event teaser
PUBG Mobile has begun to reveal more information about the Halloween event on media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter. According to the posts by PUBG Mobile’s developers, the Halloween event, Halloweeks, is going to hit the client on 16 October 2019. Many Halloween themed assets such as lanterns, blazed pumpkins, carousel roundabouts, night mode, and many more in-game features are going to be added to the game, along with this years’ Halloween themed cosmetics.
Party Invitation Event
The other active event in PUBG Mobile currently is the Party Invitation. The access button is located on the carousel, which in turn is placed on the game’s home page’s bottom right corner, right under the gift box icon. By clicking it, the players would be granted a pop up with login rewards. The list contains a limited time outfit and a skin that can be used for three days. Besides those items, the event also provides a coupon.
Erangel 2.0, new TDM map and animations
Similar to the PC version, PUBG Mobile is also going to get the new redesigned Erangel map after the 0.15.0 update tomorrow. Along with the redesign, PUBG Mobile player is also going to get a new Ruin themed Team Deathmatch map. Besides new maps, the visual effects of grenades are also improved, with cleaner exploding effects from Frag Grenades and death animation for Molotov kills.
