It is likely that PUBG Mobile is going to be replaced by PUBG: New State in India if the ban continues to be upheld. The Indian version of the game was announced in November... but nothing seems to have happened since. PUBG: New State, on the other hand, is going to make its debut very soon.
In this article, we would compare the similarities between PUBG Mobile and PUBG: New State so that old PUBG Mobile players would have more of an idea about the game when migrating.
1 - Battle Royale is the main mode
A lot of people afraid that the rumored "PUBG 2" is going to be more of a normal shooter, similar to Call of Duty Mobile... however, looks like this was never going to be the case. PUBG: New State is designed as a battle royale from the start.
2 - Core Battle Royale gameplay
Both games would feature 100 players diving into a giant map and fight each other until only one player or team remains standing. Overall, only the map is different - old players would need no time to get back into the game.
However, it is likely that this game would begin like the original PUBG, with only one map available at first. You might need to wait for a while to get a second one. The new map, Troi, is also going to be 8x8 similar to Erangel.
3 - Same core mechanics
All the usual mechanics like the blue zone, drop crates, flare gun... would remain the same - with a fresh new coat of paint. The weapon rosters of both games are going to be big - while New State is going to get a completely different roster, they are likely to be just futuristic versions of the current ones. There would still be SMGs, ARs, Shotguns, Snipers...etc.
With all the common weapon class being in the game, players would have no problem picking up those guns and figure out how to use them right away.
