New Raiden Shogun Boss Fight 2.5: Gameplay And Model Leaks

It’s not been a while since the arrival of update 2.4 that new rumors have surfaced, saying Genshin Impact Raiden Shogun will be back as a weekly boss. New leaks implied these changes will come in the 2.5 update.

Raiden Shogun was released in update 2.1 and made her banner one of the best-selling events in Genshin Impact. With beta 2.5, Genshin Impact fans and players are excited and curious about this new experience with the Electro Archon.

Along with all the Yae Miko leaks and the rumblings of a Raiden Shogun rerun, a few leakers have discovered the gameplay of Raiden Shogun boss fight 2.5. Let’s see what’s new.

New Raiden Shogun boss fight 2.5 gameplay

Although players have found a way to dual the Raiden Shogun in The Omnipresent God Archon quest, Genshin Impact has yet introduced Ei’s weekly boss fight. However, a renowned leaker named @Ubatcha1 said this will change in phase 2.5.

A new video has been showcasing how the Electro Archon will perform in the new boss fight. Although it only lasts 18 seconds, the footage does give a good look at how Baal will use her skills during combat.

Different from her earlier fight, you can see her floating off the ground in a mechanical suit. She seems to use it to wield the Musou no Hitotachi.

Moreover, she also uses Eye of Stormy to launch a huge katana that slices through the whole screen. Post a quick pause, a crack shows up and the active character’s health bar immediately decreases to zero. Raiden Shogun boss fight 2.5 continues as she sheathes and unsheathes her katana before unleashing a gigantic Electro attack.

Players are debating on platforms about how they can dodge or deal with these deadly moves.

Likewise, among all Genshin Impact leaks, this video is taken with a grain of salt. miHoYo can totally change Ei’s moveset at any time before we can realize.

The character model for Raiden Shogun was originally leaked by @dimbreath, but unfortunately, this account no longer exists on Twitter.

Originally, Baal character model was leaked by @dimbreath and seemed to be suspended for a while due to the reason we can all guess.

The leaks show that she looks immensely different from what the players saw previously in Inazuma’s Archon Quests.

For the unknown, it is also speculated that both Yae Miko and Kamisato Ayato will use the item drops of Raiden Shogun.

Meanwhile, we can expect the return of Shogun as part of the Update 2.5 once it comes to every server. The release date of this version is expected to be on 16 February 2022.
