Free Fire is releasing more and more powerful characters into the game... with the latest ones blowing all older characters out of the water. Imagine having to choose between Kelly's measly 6% sprinting speed and Chrono's shield of invulnerability - it is not even a contest.
However, Shirou, the new character released in Free Fire, is also fairly strong. In this article, we would compare the two newest characters in Free Fire, Shirou and Chrono, to see which one is stronger.
1 - About Shirou
Shirou's ability is a passive skill named "Damage Delivered". This is somewhat related to his background of being a Delivery Boy. Generally, the skill would tag an enemy who hit Shirou, revealing their location and the first hit scored against them would ignore all armor.
With this skill, Shiro can deal with snipers and ambushers more effectively... and with a high damage weapon like an SKS or SVD, the player can even one-shot people with that 100% armor penetration. With the bonus provided by this skill, even the highest level armors and helmets are useless. The vision from this skill does not get shared with your teammates - only you would be able to see the marked enemy.
2 - About Chrono
Chrono's skill is called "Time Turner" - it would create a small bubble with 600 HP that you and your allies can get in. You can move faster and shoot targets outside while in the bubble... but your enemy has to destroy the bubble to get to you. Allies would get half the movement speed bonus.
While this ability might seem to be overpowered, it is actually not. The weakness of Time Turner is that the bubble is fairly small and immobile - enemies can just run away or put up their own bubble and wait until the 9s duration runs out.
3 - Who is stronger between Shirou & Chrono?
While Shirou's ability is strong, it is not really overpowered. Damage Delivered only triggers if you get hit by an enemy first - a good player would try to catch enemies off guard... instead of getting caught off guard by enemies. It would still work in a 1 vs 1 case of course - you would get an edge in damage for the first shot.
Chrono's ability, on the other hand, works in any situation, both attack and defense - enemies have no other choice but to retreat or put up their own bubble. It is the perfect defense that stops all gunfires while allowing you to shoot back.
The winner of this contest is Chrono.
