There are a ridiculous number of outrageously expensive vehicles in GTA Online, and only some of them have a justifiable price tag. Grinding money can take a lot of time in GTA Online, and players need to spend their cash on useful items.
In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 7 expensive vehicles in GTA Online that are worth your money.
Table of Contents
1. P-996 LAZER
- Price: $6,500,000
The P-996 LAZER is probably the best fighter jet you can find in GTA Online. Being the most expensive plane on the roster, it has the best speed, third highest acceleration and fairly sensitive handling.
Weapon-wise, the Lazer is more of a gun plane than a missile plane. It comes with dual explosive cannons that can finish off most enemies with a single well-aimed burst. Heavily armored targets like Avenger, Mobile Operations Center, or the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom can also be dealt with after sustained fire. However, in exchange for this high damage, the range of its gun is rather limited.
2. Kosatka
- Price: $9,085,000
The Cayo Perico Heist is probably the best way to make money for solo players so far. It is the only heist that can be completed without a team. The Kosatka is a requirement to do this heist.
Therefore, it is important that players grind enough money and unlock this sub as soon as possible. Gameplay-wise, it is a command center vehicle, with serves as a movable base. The Kosatka comes with a lot of missiles.
3. Hydra
- Price: $3,990,000
The design of the Mammoth Hydra is based on a real life British Aerospace Harrier II, F-35 Lightning II, McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II. It is considered the second most powerful jet after the Lazer. The Hydra has appeared in both San Andreas and V.
Similar to the P-996 LAZER, the Hydra is equipped with dual cannons below the fuselage and just beside the front main landing gear, as well as six radar-guided missiles on both wings.
Performance wise, the best part about the Hydra is its ability to do VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing). This allows it to hover, descend or ascend vertically like a helicopter. Its cannons are just as powerful as the Lazer but its missiles are not.
4. Terrorbyte
- Price: $3,459,500
The Terrorbyte is a large command truck that serves primarily as an operational hub for all 8 business types; Vehicle Cargo, Special Cargo, M/C Club Businesses (Weed, Cocaine, Meth, Counterfeit Cash), Supplies and Air Freight Cargo, alongside Paige's Client Jobs. Managing all business from a single location saves a lot of time and effort.
Players can upgrade the Terrorbyte with a multi-lock missile batter, drone station, weapon workshop and specialized workshop. Players need this truck to upgrade the Oppressor Mk2. Furthermore, it is the only vehicle that can be upgraded and stored in this area.
5. Toreador
- Price: $3,660,000
The Pegassi Toreador is a custom submersible sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Cayo Perico Heist update. Overall, except for the fact that it cannot fly, the car is perfect. It is armed with missiles that turn into torpedoes underwater, machine guns, and superior armor plating that can take a fair bit of punishment.
Its best feature, however, is the Rocket boost that lets the car zip forward for a short distance - perfect to evade enemies' homing missiles.
6. Ruiner 2000
- Price: $5,745,600
The Imponte Ruiner 2000 is a modified muscle car featured in GTA Online as part of the Import/Export update. With it being one of the most expensive vehicles in the game, the Ruiner is top tier in pretty much every aspect, especially defense. Its speed and maneuverability are higher than the insurgent... and that's why it is higher on the list.
Weapon-wise, the Ruiner 2000 comes with tons of features. It has machine guns and homing missiles, along with a power hop mechanism and parachute hatch. The homing launchers equipped on the Ruiner 2000 are extremely deadly - they track targets super well.
7. Thruster
- Price: $3,657,500
Thruster more or less inherits the role of the legendary Jetpack in GTA San Andreas. It is a fun vehicle that allows players to freely fly around. Piloting the Thruster is comparable to piloting a Buzzard or a Havok, as it is light, fast and versatile. The player can almost squeeze through areas that a helicopter cannot reach.
Players can equip the thrusters with dual weapons mounted on small stub wings. It is possible to choose between three-barreled .50 caliber Miniguns and missile launchers.
