Adventures of Isabelle Fine: Murder on Rails is the first game of Secret Forest Games to launch on Steam. The game follows the main character named Isabelle. Into the game, you will have to go through a murder story, mystery, and mayhem.

Adventures of Isabelle Fine: Murder on Rails presents players a top-down perspective with an old art style, which adds another layer to the mysterious atmosphere. It's pretty much a modern take on of old adventure games that focus on exploration and puzzles.

The game uses the top-down perspective

Isabelle is no ordinary girl though, she is a girl with time and space superpowers. She is known to be sent to this timeline on Earth to make something right. There is one small hiccup though, she does not aware of what she is supposed to fix. Her past and purpose is a secret which you will find out about as you progressing through the game.

The game takes place on a train where a murder happened. Along with Isabelle is a man called Conway, who will assist her with the investigation. Conway has a special ability to interact with the world in a unique way that she cannot. While they obviously have some connections with each other, we can't really tell because Conway is unable to remember everything in the past.

You will solve a murder case on a train

Finding the murderer will involve activities of every typical investigation such as exploring the train, questioning people, and searching for clues. Other than that, players will have a "small" advantage thanks to Isabelle's power like mind control or identifying the emotion, ability, mood, intention. Although she hasn't mastered all of them yet, she'll get better throughout this journey.

Conway also has special abilities

Note that, the full story between Isa and Conway won't be disclosed even at the end of the game since the developer has planned to make this the first game in a series. They have even already planned for one sequel and are hoping to make more.

If you are interested in this game, you can buy it on Steam for Windows with a price of $10.
