Getting hold of a good weapon will greatly boost your chance of victory in Apex Legends. If you're looking to grind your way to ranks in the Season 9 of the game, check out the Apex Legends weapon tier list right here!
What Factors Do We Rank Apex Legends Weapons On?
We divide weapons in Apex Legends into 5 ranks: S-tier, A-tier, B-tier, C-tier, and F-tier. S-tier weapons are powerful but easy to find, which help you climb ranks the fastest. A-tier weapons are less powerful, and the list goes down from there. With that being said, F-tier weapons are the worst in terms of both usability and availability.
#1- S-tier Weapons
Sitting on the top of the list are the currently most oppressive guns in the entire game. They can deal massive damage to enemies. With the right hop-ups and attachments, you can push the limit of these weapons even further, making them the most versatile threats in Apex Legends.
The weapons in the S-tier include :
- Kraber .50cal-Sniper
- Peacekeeper (Precision Choke)
- Devotion LMG (Turbocharger)
- Wingman
- Prowler Burst PDWR-99
- Hemlock Burst ARM600 Spitfire
#2- A-tier Weapons
Though not as powerful as weapons in the S-tier in our Apex Legends weapon tier list, these A-tier listers are more viable as they're abundant on the map. They have a bit less damage output and are harder to control. Most of the weapons in the A-tier have been persistent in performance.
The A-tier weapons include:
- Mastiff Shotgun
- R-301 Carbine
- Volt SMG
- Alternator SMG
- G-7 Scout
- VK-47 Flatline
- Havoc Rifle
#3- B-tier Weapons
The guns in the B-tier all have some kind of weaknesses that prevent them from entering the higher rank. They put out decent damage, but are not the first choice of their weapon class. Most require purple or even gold attachments to really shine.
The weapons in the B-tier include:
- Sentinel
- Longbow DMR
- Eva-8 Auto
- 30-30 Repeater
- Triple Take
- L-Star EMG

#4- C-tier
In this Apex Legends weapon tier list, C-tier weapons are simply not that satisfying to use. They somehow feel very clunky and challenging to maneuver. The Charge Rifle even reveals the location of the sniper, which is a big "no-no" in the world of sniping.
The weapons in the C-tier include:
- RE-45 Auto
- Mozambique Shotgun
- Charge Rifle
#5- F-tier
Lastly, the single weapon that can really use some love is the default P2020. Though you can upgrade this gun with Hammerpoint Rounds hop-up, it does not hide the fact that this gun is terrible. Low damage stats, small magazine capacity, everything seems to go the opposite way of this semi-auto pistol.
