We have talked so much about the battle royale title of Respawn Entertainment – Apex Legends – since its surprising release in February this year. In spite of being published by EA, this game did not have a big marketing campaign for it before the release date of the game. But then this game has attracted a huge number of players all around the world, thanks to the great graphics, gameplay, and content of the game, as well as the effort of famous Twitch streamers who have streamed this game right after the release.
This battle royale looks really promising, but then with all the cool graphics and characters of the game, the question about Apex Legends size is asked very frequently in the gaming community. In our country India, things are not much different. We have been so familiar with the battle royale game PUBG, mostly for its realistic gameplay and mechanics, so Apex Legends can easily gain our attention, because the game bring us the feeling of PUBG and Overwatch combining into one game. But Apex Legend game size is perhaps the main obstacle preventing us to play the game.
Apex Legends is available on all three most famous gaming platforms now: PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Each version of the game has different size, but the differences are not big. For Apex Legends PC size, it is 22GB now, after all the update patches of Season One and Season Two of the game (Season Two of Apex Legends has just been released on July 2nd). The size for PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will be bigger, with about 25GB for the Apex Legends file size for PS4, and about 33GB for the version of the game on Xbox One.
From the size of the game, we can expect the high requirement for the specs of this game. For the minimum system requirement of the game, it has already been at least an Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz or an AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor for CPU; 6GB for the RAM of the PC. The weakest graphics card that can run this game is the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 or the Radeon HD 7730, with at least 1GB of memory for the RAM of your graphics cards. And your operation system should be Windows 7 – 64 bit version at least. For the PC minimum requirement only, it has already been a hard to get PC specs in India.
But the recommended system requirement for Apex Legends will certainly make you jump out of your chair or drop your phone in shock. EA and Respawn Entertainment say that your PC system should have an Intel i5 3570K or CPU chip with the same power (or higher); 8GB for the RAM of the PC. To enjoy the game, these two gaming companies recommend the graphics cards of at least Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290, with the amount of RAM for the graphics card should be 8GB. The recommended requirement for operation system is the same as the minimum requirement - Windows 7 – 64 bit version, but the other requirements are enough to make our jaws drop. And this recommended requirement is just to get the 60fps constainly. For streamers with fps staying at 80-100, their PC will be a lot powerful.
Apex Legends is not a video game for every PC on earth, as the specs requirement for this game sounds pretty much like the dream specs of many gamers. The Apex Legend size has partly says that. If you still want to play this game, it is the best that you go to a proper cyber café or wait for Apex Legends Mobile, which will be released soon.
