However, it takes a lot of time and experience to make your own builds, especially if you are new. In the meanwhile, you can check out the 3 best New World builds to start with.
Table of Contents
1. Tank Build
First off, we are going to start with a build that many new players love, the Tank Build. This build has a great defense, healing, and AOE damage.

Sword And Shield is the only option for the primary weapon for tank build in New World. Its skills are meant to be for tank builds and you will get extra armor as well as block stability for equipping a shield.
Secondary Weapon
As for your secondary weapon, you will need the Hatchet. The Hatchet offers great damage in both PvE and PvP. But on top of that, it gives you percentage heal and taunts all enemies around you, which is everything a tanker needs.
Gear
You are going to need as much physical and elemental resistance as possible, so wearing 5 pieces of Heavy Armor and equipping a Kite or Tower Shield would do the trick.
Attributes
For this build, you only need to focus on 1 and only 1 attribute, Constitution. It will give you more health, armor, passive damage reduction, and improved healing from potions.
