Call Of Duty Warzone: Huge Update For The Game To Go Live In A Few Hours, Including 200-Player Battle Royale!

In the middle of its fourth season, Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare will be receiving a major update, big enough to be called "Season Four: Reloaded" according to Activision. Without a doubt, the most interesting novelty feature of this update is its 200-player Battle Royale.

That's right, from the moment you install the update (which will be released at 11:00 am IST, July 30th which is today) you can go battle with 199 other players, in 50 squads of four players. Currently, the capacity of the Warzone Battle Royale is 150 players pre-update. This mode was already leaked a few weeks ago, however.

A new Battle Royale mode will also be incorporated, called Juggernaut Royale, in which the game will drop equipment consisting of the Juggernaut armor and a minigun with which we can destroy the rest of the players and vehicles.

Every time a Juggernaut is eliminated and sent to the Gulag, a new Juggernaut package will be dropped in another location, so players will keep fighting over the Juggernaut suit and the minigun.

Infinity Ward also introduced a new powerful piece of gear to Call of Duty Warzone: the Spotter Scope.

According to the developers: "[T]his re-usable scope allows you to scan the environment around you and mark enemies without being detected. Perfect for scouting ahead, the Spotter Scope is a great tool for Operators who want to plan their next move while keeping a low profile."

There will also be a new mode: Team Defender, a variant of Capture the Flag in which, there will only be one flag per game, which must be defended by a member of the team. So it will be necessary to defend that player at all costs, or attack with everything you have if the rival has it.

For both Warzone and Modern Warzone, new weapons are added, such as a new sniper rifle, and a new operator, Roze, that will be coming soon. Of course, keep in mind that the update will require a patch of approximately 22-36GB in size, depending on the platform. But more importantly, after the update has been applied, the overall size of the game will reduce.
