After all the rumors about the release date, Gear 5 now has its launch date confirmed. One of the posters around LA Convention Center, where E3 2019 will be held, features Gears 5 with its release date in this fall. A piece of information was actually hinted from a box art in May that the game will be released on September 10 to avoid the AAA title in October and November. September 10 is in the fall, so there is a high chance that information might be true.

Gears 5 is a third-person shooter game from the developer The Coalition for Xbox One and Windows. The game is the sixth game of the Gears of War franchise and a sequel to Gears of War 4. The main protagonist of Gears 5 is Kait Diaz, an  Outsider of Locust, who is on the adventure to find out about the origins of the Locust and Kait's family and to protect "what's left". The name of this installment was shortened to Gears 5 instead of Gears of War 5 for the sake the future products based on the game like Gears Pop mobile game and Gears Tactics for PC.
