How to Get Hired Hand Ventza’s Map

Hired Hand Ventza’s Map is one of the first treasure maps you can obtain. To start, travel to Tachov and begin the Blacksmith’s questline. Completing a few side quests will eventually allow you to attend a wedding.

During the Jaunt quest from Radavon, you’ll need to track down an escaped hired hand. Eventually, you’ll reach a search area where you’ll hear someone talking nearby. Follow the sound and find Ventza.

When speaking to him, choose the following dialogue options:

  1. "Can’t think of any other solution?"
  2. "I’m listening."
  3. "Alright, I’ll take it."

This will give you Hired Hand Ventza’s Map. Afterward, you can decide what to do with him—either scare him into surrendering or fight him. Once you’re done, report back to the Captain.

Where to Find the Treasure

After dealing with Ventza, you can either return to Semine or stay behind to grab the treasure—which is nearby.

  1. Go back to the area where you found the missing cart.
  2. Follow the northeast path you took earlier in the Jaunt quest.
  3. Look for a trail between two large rock formations and follow it uphill.
  4. Once at the top, turn left.

Here, you’ll find skeletons and a nearby bag that contains valuable loot.
