Anticipation for GTA 6 has sparked wild theories among us, though Rockstar hasn't given us much evidence. Our excitement might shape how we imagine the game. However, perhaps we should lower our expectations a bit.
According to Obbe Vermeij, the former Rockstar developer, GTA 6 may not differ significantly from GTA 5. He suggested that advancements in technology are slower now, so we might not see the same leap in graphics and hardware as in previous GTA games.
"I don't think it is going to be wildly different from GTA 5. I think maybe people might be a little disappointed on the first day," said the former Rockstar developer.
He believes that the combination of these factors, along with the hype surrounding the game, could potentially disappoint some fans because their expectations are overly high.
Despite these factors, Vermeij remains optimistic that GTA 6 will still be "the best game out there." He believes Rockstar has continued to push boundaries and innovate, even without making massive technological leaps.
Vermeij, though lacking insider information, was impressed by the trailer alone. He loves the Miami vibe. The scene on the beach, the character swith unique animations… really blew him away.
While details are still emerging, a full picture will only be available when the game is released. So stay tuned!
