Rockstar Games has offered a sneak peek into the highly-anticipated GTA 6, hinting at details about its potential price tag. Early indications suggest that fans might need to dig deep when the game finally drops.

GTA 6 price would be estimated “per hour”
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, the company that owns GTA publisher Rockstar Games, mentioned in a 2023 interview with Forbes that future games might be priced based on their "per hour" value.
“Our prices are still very, very low, because we offer many hours of engagement, the value of the engagement is very high. So I think the industry as a whole offers a terrific price-to-value opportunity for consumers,” said Strauss Zelnick.
Rumor has it that the upcoming game would feature a hefty price tag, aligning with the current trend of £60 - £70 for AAA game titles. As for the release date, mark your calendars for Autumn 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. PC gamers might have to wait a bit longer, with a potential launch in late 2026.
Although the developers have been tight-lipped about details so far, fans have leaked information about the next GTA Online, including hints about the potential game map, which is rumored to be the largest open world in GTA history.
According to an "in-depth analysis" by a Reddit user who compared the game's trailer with leaked information, GTA VI is speculated to have a "highly diverse" map with more than 100 locations.
The initial trailer, which surfaced online in December following a leak, features glimpses of social media posts within the game. These include live streams showcasing fast cars, beaches, strip clubs, encounters with alligators, police raids, boat parties, and another nightclub in-game.
