GTA 5 Cargobob is a mission for Trevor. In GTA 5, this mission will require you to steal a Cargobob to prepare for The Merryweather Heist mission. You will get this mission if you choose the Offshore approach. This guide will help you to complete the Cargobob mission with Gold Medal.

How to get the Cargobob in GTA 5
In GTA 5, if you chose to finish the mission from Off-shore, then you will need to control Trevor to break into Fort Zancudo airbase, steal the Cargobob, escape the military chopper, go to the hangar and land the Cargobob there.
The first thing you need to do in the Grand Theft Auto 5 Cargobob mission is to locate the Cargobob GTA 5 location by opening the map and looking for the Cargobob symbol. It is located inside Fort Zancudo airbase and you will need a car to break in. There are 2 ways to get inside. You can either go inside directly through the front gate in the South or through the back gate in the North. It is better to go through the back gate so you can access to the Cargobob faster.
You can just smash your car through the gate and drive to the Cargobob, ignoring all the people who are shooting at you. After that, quickly run into the helicopter and fly out of the base quickly. If you act fast enough, there will be no one chasing after you. Otherwise, there will be a Buzzard chasing and shooting missiles at you. Just flying forward until you lose it. From there, just make your way to the airfield with a yellow mark on the map and land the Carogbob there to complete the mission.
Tips
- You can try to exit the Cargobob after getting out of the base and use his Special Ability to take down the Buzzard with an RPG or a Grenade Launcher.
- You can also kill the pilot on the way in by running over him with a car. Alternatively, you can also find the Buzzard first and destroy it before entering the Cargobob.
- Apart from using a car, you can also reach the Cargobob using a helicopter. This way is much safer if your driving isn't very good.
- The first time you do the GTA 5 Cargobob mission, the timer won't count until you enter the helicopter.

In this mission, you can obtain the Cargobob and save on Trevor's helipad. However, that will cause the mission to fail.
