Although the first official trailer came out in December, Grand Theft Auto 6 ran into problems like leaks and might not come out until 2026.
At the same time, fans were guessing about how big the map in GTA 6 might be. Based on the official trailer and some leaks, they are assuming it could have the largest map ever seen in Rockstar’s game. The map would even be bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2’s, which already covers the whole of North America.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is anticipated to be set in the fictional Vice City, which draws inspiration from Miami, Florida, as well as its surrounding areas. Yet, it's expected that the game will not only include numerous cities but also encompass surrounding areas like the Keys (Gator Keys), ports, mountainous regions, etc.
By gathering all the map details from the official trailer and leaks, a r/GTA6 user has compiled a list of locations, indicating that players will have a vast map to explore.
“We all know this game will be set in Florida. What a lot of people don’t know is that the game will feature surrounding States, and parts of them. Mainly Georgia,” wrote the r/GTA6 user.
Rockstar has not given any words to the speculations about the GTA 6 map, leaving fans to share their opinions about what the map might be like in the upcoming game title.
As rumors circulated about the release and potential gameplay of GTA 6, players received discouraging news when the publisher hinted at a potential price increase for the game. According to Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two CEO, the price tag for GTA 6 is predicted to be higher than the usual $75-$87 seen in recent years. He also claimed that AAA had better set the price tag based on how long fans can play them.
