The reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 in December 2023 has sparked extensive discussions about its single-player story as well as its online mode, which carries its significant legacy within the franchise.

GTA 6 might face the challenge of surpassing the iconic and widely loved GTA Online from GTA 5. Nevertheless, it has the opportunity to build upon the successful features of its predecessor to introduce new gameplay elements.

#1. GTA 6 Could Combine RP With TV & Radio

GTA Online has evolved into a defining aspect of the franchise, especially since GTA 5 didn't receive any single-player DLC. This led to the multiplayer mode having greater longevity and fan involvement. While GTA Online has always had its fans, recent years have seen a surge in fan-driven RP servers, making it more popular than ever before.

The ongoing popularity of GTA Online's RP scene, particularly in live-streaming, has raised expectations for GTA 6 to incorporate its roleplay elements.

Several theories suggest that GTA 6 would introduce official roleplay servers to its online mode, alongside the traditional sandbox gameplay of GTA Online in order to likely enhance the quality and accessibility of RP experiences, especially on consoles.

In other words, introducing this feature in GTA 6 would unlock a plethora of new opportunities for immersive gameplay experiences, making the virtual world of Vice City feel alive with diverse and colorful characters created by players.

#2. GTA 6 Could Collaborate with RP Streamers

Many GTA fans are familiar with the TV shows and radio stations that add depth and humor to the game world. That said, these features typically remain untouched after the game's debut, missing out on opportunities for fresh content. RP servers could take advantage of this by updating and expanding the in-game media, providing fans with new and engaging content to explore within the GTA universe.

Indeed, it would be a great idea if Rockstar collaborates with prominent RP streamers in GTA 6 to develop exclusive and regularly updated in-game content, such as TV shows, podcasts, newscasts... These updates would help players stay informed about major RP personalities and storylines, promoting a stronger sense of community within the RP scene.

Given that some RP personalities already portray roles like news journalists and rappers, there's a clear opportunity for the game developer to establish closer ties between content creators and in-game media.
