The Criminal Enterprises DLC for GTA Online is almost out - it is scheduled for a July 26 release. Rockstar is currently revealing all the information regarding this new expansion so that players get a head up about the new content getting added.

One of the biggest changes in this update is for the heist system, which involves the infamous Cayo Perico solo grind. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase everything available so far about the GTA Online Criminal Enterprises' heist changes.

Cayo Perico heist will get a 3-days cooldown

Apparently, after this update, all Heists will be aligned to have the same cooldown timer of 1 in-game day (48 minutes) when playing as a group.

The Cayo Perico solo heist is finally getting nerfed.

The Cayo Perico heist, on the other hand, gets nerfed heavily. A solo playthrough of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale will trigger a cooldown of 3 in-game days or 2 hours 24 minutes. Additionally, after stealing a high-value Primary Target in the Cayo Perico Heist Finale, high-value Primary Targets will show up less often in the next 3 days (72 hours), whereas the value of Secondary Targets will increase.

This change pretty much removes players' ability to just solo grind the Cayo Perico Heist all the time for infinite money. They will have to do normal GTA co-op gameplay instead. There won't be any problem if players just co-op grinding with at least one other.

Criminal Enterprises DLC introduces better Heist payouts

Heist Setups

Looks like Rockstar is going to focus on improving the co-op experience by making it worth it for players to play together. The first and biggest boost is that players will receive 50% more money reward than the current payouts.  The cost of Heist Setups will also be significantly lower, around 25K.

This means playing a heist the classic way would give a lot of money to everyone involved.

Heist Finales

Furthermore, the developer stated that they will also increase the minimum cut for the finales, which will now be set at 15% for each crew member. This means the host can no longer take the majority of the money and the participation of teammates is more worthwhile now.

The classic heists can yield great rewards for participants

Additionally, on top of the present take, the following Heist Finales will get an extra 75% GTA$ payout:

  • The Fleeca Job
  • The Humane Labs Raid
  • The Prison Break Finale
  • Series A Funding Finale

This is a great move, as the classic heists have been pretty much neglected and no one plays them anymore. The bigger yield would bring players back to doing these heists.

The Doomsday Heist is one of the most exciting pieces of content in GTA Online.

The following heists will also get an extra 50% GTA$ payout:

  • The Pacific Standard Job Finale
  • The Doomsday Heist: Act I
  • The Doomsday Heist: Act II
  • The Doomsday Heist: Act III

These heists are quite a bit more popular than the above classics so they get a lesser buff of 50%. However, the extra money gained is still pretty substantial.
