In Oblivion Remastered, jewelry like rings, necklaces, and amulets is super useful for boosting your character’s skills with enchantments or making some quick gold by selling them. However, some of the rings and amulets are random drops which can be tricky to get.
In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase how to get any jewelry for your build in Oblivion Remastered.
1. Earil’s Mysteries (Shivering Isles DLC)
Here’s the easiest way to snag any jewelry in Oblivion Remastered, and you can pull it off even at level 1 by hitting up Earil’s Mysteries. Start by getting your Mercantile skill to Journeyman, then head to Bravil and go straight east until you spot an island with a strange portal. Chat with the locals there, then step through the portal to enter the next area. Once inside, sit down and talk to Haskill twice to trigger a cool animation that’s worth seeing.
From there, make your way to the Gatekeeper, let him handle the guards, and then take him down either by yourself or with help from the locals. After that, head to the northwest part of Crucible to find Earil’s Mysteries. Go inside, have a quick chat with Earil, and step back out. Wait 73 hours outside, save your game, then head back in to check the shop’s gear—you’ll find three enchanted amulets or rings scaled to your level.
If the items aren’t what you’re after, reload your save and try again, or buy something you like, wait another 73 hours for the stock to refresh, and check again. The shop carries every piece of jewelry available for your level, with the full selection unlocking at level 20, so have fun building your collection!
2. Hitting Up Dungeons
Monster dungeons like Robber’s Glen Cave or Crawfish Cave are great spots to hunt for enchanted jewelry. Boss chests give you a 25% shot at grabbing generic magic rings or amulets, while regular chests have about a 10% chance. Marauder and vampire dungeons, like Infested Mine or Memorial Cave, are also solid for finding enchanted gear, including jewelry.
If you’re up for it, closing Oblivion Gates—some folks have shut down 56 of them—can score you a ton of loot, including some rare enchanted jewelry.
3. Farming the Blind Moth Prelate
he quickest way to grab specific enchanted jewelry, like the Ring of the Iron Fist or Amulet of the Acrobat, is by farming the Blind Moth Prelate at the Temple of the Ancestor Moths in northeastern Cyrodiil’s Jerall Mountains. You’ll need to be at least level 22 (25+ is better for top-tier loot) and have progressed in the Thieves Guild questline to Turning a Blind Eye for easy access to the Shrine of the Moth. High Sneak or Chameleon helps but isn’t required.
Save before entering the Prelate’s chamber, then take them out using frost bombs or direct combat. Check their loot for an enchanted ring—if it’s not what you want, reload and try again. This works because the Prelate often drops random enchanted rings, and reloading manipulates the RNG.
