Mojang - the developer of Minecraft Earth announced at Minecon 2019 some new information that might make fans excited. Specifically, Minecraft Earth - a mobile augmented reality game - was announced to begin rolling out globally in Early Access this October. Hence, pre-registration for the Early Access version is out now for players to figure out when the game will be released in their country.

The developer plans to roll out the Early Access in a “few smaller markets” first. Then, once the game becomes successful and popular in those places, they will roll it out to new countries every few days and weeks, with a goal of global availability within this year.

When the Early Access debuts, there will be a limited number of features that players cannot experience yet. Instead, they will have to get familiar with the game’s basic features and play on a core level. But don’t worry, more interesting content and features will be added in future updates, maybe around the Spring of 2020.

The studio wants to give players access to the game first so that they can share ideas and opinions to help the developer grow the game.

Minecraft Earth has been available via a closed beta in cities like Seattle and London earlier this year.

Unfortunately for PC users, Minecraft Earth is currently not planned to launch on Windows 10. If mobile games aren’t your favorite genre, then Minecraft Dungeons might be more suitable for you.
