Outriders is another surprise from Square Enix for the E3 2019 line up apart from FF VII Remake, Kingdom Heart 3 Switch, and Marvel's Avengers.
The trailer Outriders: Awaken doesn't reveal a lot about the game since it only lasts... 15 seconds. The only thing is shown is a woman waking up from the inside a sleeping capsule followed by the announcement date on June 10. But from the official twitter of Outriders, I guess we can tell that this game is related to science fiction, save the world kinds of stuff.
This is the right move from Square Enix to get this trailer out right before E3 so it can get a spotlight among the huge titles.
Outriders Twitter account was created in 2017. But not until May 1, 2019, did it create its first posts. Most posts are in the form of mission logs from the spaceship.
Square Enix also filed the trademark for Outriders before E3 2018 and described the game as a triple-A title for consoles and PC. More information about the game will be revealed in the upcoming E3 on June 10 along with FF VII Remake, Kingdom Heart 3 Switch, and Marvel's Avengers.
