Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a dark RPG from Awaken Realms. Inspired from the board game of the same name, the game is coming to PC thanks to the support of more than 42,000 backers for their Kickstarter. The developer has just released an announcement trailer for the game and all the backers will soon be able to test the game out soon. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is set in a dying island called Avalon. This place is used to protected by ancient magical stones, which are fading away. As their light wore off, a malicious power starts invading the land slowly. The islander sent out a group of champions to get help from a place far away in Camelot as the last resort.
However, they have failed. The last hope has gone and the king is killed. In this horrifying place, you are just an ordinary villager, trying to find a safe place with other people. On your journey, you will be able to discover secrets to save your home, or just trying to stay alive.
The game features a non-linear story with deep tactical gameplay. In this dark world, you will be facing numerous difficult decisions that will influence the story. It's sometimes impossible to know if you have made the right choice or not. Exploration will be the main activity in the game. It the only way to get resources and progress through the story. You can equip items and increase the power of your characters with special abilities to face dangers that are lurking along the way in your journey.
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is currently being developed for PC. The release date of the game will be announced by the developer soon.
