The Dreamcatcher - the newest title by Huanlin Games, was reported to be available on Steam store. There is no additional detail about the release date except “coming soon” status.

Some people believe that you will have a dream at night about what you were thinking of during the day. In other words, your day-to-day life tends to have an impact on your dream. But, have you ever think about what would happen if your dream can also affect the world around you when you wake up?
In The Dreamcatcher, your character will be a young adult who has just finished college and begins his career. One day of your ordinary life, you have an unusual dream and wake up, noticing that the real-life things are not the same anymỏe. The reality and your dreams are now having some strange interactions somehow. To bring everything back to normal, you need to get into your dreams from time to time. In Sigmund Freud’s theory, the dream is fulfilled with the dreamer’s desire.
There goes the question: “What is the main character’s desire?”
The gameplay of The Dreamcatcher
As Huanlin Games announced, The Dreamcatcher will focus on its storytelling-based environment and try to give players a fresh experience on the world of dreams and reality mixed together, along with human subconsciousness, relationships, and love. A significant difference between this game and the others is it offers neither violence nor combat. To be honest, that idea isn’t new, but the game itself is still worth trying, like Rime, Abzu, Journey and many others.
With a design of many different dream worlds, The Dreamcatcher will take players into an adventure of light puzzles and has many obstacles to get through, make players wonder about how many stages of dreams that the main character can create.
Huanlin Games have announced that players can expect The Dreamcatcher on Steam very soon.
