For the gaming industry, the annual 'The Game Awards' is considered as the Oscars of gaming. And today, the much-awaited nomination list of the event has been revealed. The list included 107 different games, individuals and esports teams that have contributed to the industry in 2019. Back in 2018, 'The Game Awards' event has attracted a total of 30 million viewers, and once again being regarded as the biggest gaming event of the year - with awesome performances, new games announcement, and the unforgettable return of The Game Awards Orchestra.

This year's nominees for Game of the Year includes many of the recently-released titles, including the controversial Death Stranding, Control, Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and The Outer Worlds. Along with the above games, there are some notable titles with multiple nominations - for example, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Disco Elysium, Final Fantasy XIV, Fortnite, Gris, Outer Wilds, and Sayonara Wild Hearts. This year's first-time nominees include the studios behind those indie games like Baba Is You, Katana Zero, Kind Words, Sea of Solitude and the Untitled Goose Game.

For now, fans can help to decide a winner in all the event categories by voting online on Google and the event's official website. If you want to vote directly on Google, you can type "TGA vote" in the search bar, so that you can cast your vote to your favorite games - from now until December 11th. Meanwhile, in China, people will be able to vote via the streaming site Bilibili.

This year is The Game Awards' 5th anniversary - and to celebrate this milestone, the event will be streamed live for free in 60 different platforms all over the world. The main event will be streamed on Thursday, December 12.
