Players can buy a huge variety of cars in GTA Online, from Muscle to Sports and even Super. Most players usually just focus on the top speed when purchasing cars, while ignoring the most important thing that makes cars competitive: Acceleration.

1. Omnis e-GT

Electric cars tend to be slow in GTA Online, and the Omnis e-GT is not an exception. It has an abysmal top speed of 111.5 mph and ranks only 82nd among Sports Cars. However, the Electric nature of the car allow it to accelerate easily - players can reach top speed in no time at all.

The design of the Obey Omnis e-GT is based on a real-life Audi e-Tron GT. This is one of the Imani Tech vehicles that can be equipped with a Missile Lock-On Jammer and RC Control. Personally, I think it's awesome. I love how it looks, the handling is better than I expected and while it may not be the fastest, it's pretty fun to drive.

2. Lampadati Corsita

The Corsita can be purchased in GTA Online from Legendary Motorsport for a price of $1,795,000. Players who have GTA+ subscription can get it for free, however. Currently, it is the fastest among the cars released in the Criminal Enterprises update.

The design of the Lampadati Corsita is based on a real-life Maserati MC20. Performance-wise, the Corsita is solid, with good acceleration and speed. Apart from a bit of oversteer and being somewhat slippery in turns, players can easily get the most out of the vehicle. Its customization is not that impressive, however.

3. Cyclone II

The Cyclone II is a perfect combination of price, customization, speed, and control feels. Coming in at $2,250,000, the car will leave you plenty of budget for any customization you want. However, when upgraded with the PS5/XSX exclusive HSW improvements, the Cyclone II can reach the crazy top speed of 141.00 mph (226.92 km/h).

There’s nothing over the top with the Cyclone. Its design is realistic and makes the players feel grounded. Plus, it runs on electricity, so one more point for saving the environment. The car works smoothly at turns, corners, and excels in short races.

4. Sasquatch (Arena)

The truck with the highest top speed in GTA Online is the monster truck Bravado Sasquatch. It can reach 121.25 mph (195.13 km/h).

Apocalypse sasquatch — The Apocalypse Sasquatch is a monster truck with gigantic wheels.

It is part of the arena war update and can only be acquired by upgrading the Rat-Truck vehicle stock model to a custom variant at the Arena Workshop.

5. Grotti Itali RSX

The Itali RSX is an excellent vehicle in standard land racing because of its extremely high top speed and better-than-average acceleration. It also has an active aerodynamic wing that activates shortly after acceleration, with not much impact on braking power.

The design of the Grotti Itali RSX is based on a real life Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Its handling is slightly unstable, causing road imperfections to be very exaggerated which will make the car more prone to spinning out.

6. Imorgon

The Overflod Imorgon is an electrical vehicle with great handling and acceleration. It can take turns easily at high speed. However, it has a quite low top speed compared to other sports cars in the same price range.

7. Principe Deveste Eight

The Principe Deveste Eight is an ultra hypercar featured in GTA Online as part of the continuation of the Arena War update in 2019, during the Deveste Eight and Doomsday Week event. It is clearly based on the real-life Devel Sixteen, a Dubai based concept hypercar.

The Deveste Eight has overall moderate acceleration but an excellent top speed. Its straight-line speed is excellent, topping out as the 2nd fastest in the Supers class, just behind the 811. The Deveste Eight's average traction is its biggest weakness - a lot of cars can win against it in races with a lot of corners.

8. Itali GTO

The Itali GTO possesses very good acceleration, good top speed and braking. It is great for stunt races and most city tracks but can get unsettled by bumps.

It resembles a Lamborghini Miura Roadster. Its name is a parody of Italy, where Lamborghinis come from.

The Declasse Scramjet is a custom weaponized vehicle released in GTA Online as part of the After Hours update.
