Tokyo Game Show 2019 has ended, and the event was wonderful. We have seen a bunch of incredible announcements for new titles, as well as leaks for the famous upcoming titles from the Japanese developers.

So why don’t we take a look back at the greatest titles that have shown us the greatest videos during the Tokyo Game Show 2019. Those clips can be trailers, gameplay videos, or even boss fight videos. Without keeping you waiting much longer, below is our list.

Project Resistance

Release date: unknown

Platform: PS4, Xbox One

Right before the Tokyo Game Show 2019 took place, there had been numerous leaks about a new zombie themed title from Capcom. At that moment, we all expected another Resident Evil game, so the expectation for the game was pushed up really high. When Project Resistance was shown to the fans at Tokyo Game Show 2019, this game turned out not to be what everyone had in their mind.

This will be a survivor game that focuses on the multiplayer experience of the players. The gameplay might make people recall to Left 4 Dead, but Project Resistance does look much better than Left 4 Dead. Time will tell whether this title can reach the level of Left 4 Dead or not, but the initial pictures of Project Resistance do look promising.

Shenmue 3

This game series has to wait for almost 20 years to see the next part for it. At first, Shenmue 3 could not come to reality, but then there was a Kickstarter project backing up this game. And the initial pictures of Shenmue 3 in Tokyo Game Show 2019 showed that the wait of the fans and the Kickstarter project were not for nothing. The trailer of Shenmue 3 did not show us any gameplay footage, only the general vibe of the game. But we have the release date for this title already – November 19th this year.

But then, the clips of Final Fantasy VII Remake shown in the event hit where the fans of the Final Fantasy series need most. With another trailer and a gameplay video featuring the boss fight scene, there are no words that can describe the joy of the fans when they saw the clips at TGS 2019.

Death Stranding

Release date: November 8th, 2019

Platform: PS4, PC

This title was another super star of Tokyo Game Show 2019. Death Stranding from the legendary video game maker Hideo Kojima gave a seven minute trailer that can explain the plot of the game for whoever still have uncertainty about this title’s storyline.

Not just that, Hideo Kojima even took the stage of the event to show us a 50 minute gameplay video of Death Stranding. However, this Japanese game maker himself said that he did not want you to watch this 50 minute gameplay video since he wanted all the players to have the most organic experience with Death Stranding. We will still put that gameplay video right below, but it will be your choice whether to watch it or not.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was a surprising announcement at E3 2019 convention, we admit. And during Tokyo Game Show 2019, we have another trailer to see more about this title. This trailer showed us the relationship between Goku and Gohan, which will be the heart of this title.

Nioh 2

The first Nioh title was a really good RPG title. This Dark Souls inspired game featured an awesome combat system, so it was able to gather a huge number of fans. This sequel title has been announced at E3 2018 convention, and the release date is coming closer.

Tales of Arise

Release date: 2020

Platform: PS4, PC, Xbox One

The Tales franchise has been one of the biggest and longest JRPG franchises in the history of gaming, and Tales of Arise does look to continue the legacy of the previous titles in the game franchise. The initial pictures of the game have already brought a promising vibe to the gamers, with super well-tailored characters.

Although we don’t have an exact release date of Tales of Arise, this game will be officially available in 2020.

There have been a lot of Yakuza titles over the years, but the latest title in this game franchise has just been announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2019.
