BGMI, or Battlegrounds Mobile India, has turned into one of India's most cutthroat esports games. With loads of teams grinding through hundreds of events—both official and third-party—it was time to sort out player transfers properly. That way, things run smoother, stay transparent, and skip pointless drama. To keep orgs steady, Krafton India launched the official BGMI transfer window back in October 2025.

The BGMI Transfer Window runs twice a year so established orgs can sort their rosters. Teams get two set periods annually to sign, trade, or cut players with no restrictions. Window shuts, and they're stuck with that lineup for six months in official tourneys. No mid-season swaps once registered. The cycles split into two: October to April, and April to September. Players locked in can't switch for at least six months.

This covers all registered, verified teams from recent events like BMPS and BGIS, overseen by Krafton India Esports. IGLs or owners log into the 'My Teams' spot on the KIE dashboard, tweak players, handle requests, and send for approval. Greenlit teams qualify for Krafton's official and third-party comps.
