Top CS:GO Teams in 2023

The best teams to look for and potential Major winners in 2023 are: Heroic, G2, Liquid, FaZe, and Outsiders.

Heroic is a Danish CS:GO organization that is currently ranked as No 1. team in the world. In 2022, they had a great season. Even though they won 6 tournaments, their biggest achievement was the silver medal on IEM Rio Major. After the Major, they managed to finish the year with a gold medal on BLAST Premier Fall Final which brought them to first place.

G2 Esports, also known as G2, is a professional esports organization based in France with zero French players in its roster. Last year, G2 had its ups and downs, mostly downs, but they managed to finish the year at second place after winning the BLAST Premier World Final. They are currently in great form and 2023 can be their year to shine.

Team Liquid is the biggest CS:GO team in North America. Even though they didn’t have a great season last year, their current form is quite impressive. Considering the fact that they didn’t make any recent changes to the roster except for YEKINDAR, this team can do plenty this year, and is surely one of the contenders for the Major title.

FaZe, previously a team of superstars, has finally become the team it was meant to be. With Finn “karrigan” Andersen as their in-game leader, they won PGL Major in Antwerp, IEM Cologne, and IEM Katowice in 2022. If they manage to do the same in 2023, they will surely be the team of the year.

And last but not least is team Outsiders. As the name suggests, this team was the underdog utill their triumph at the last Major. They surprised everyone and won IEM Rio while only dropping 1 map in the Champions Stage. Truth to be told, they had a bit of luck as they managed to avoid most of the favorites and only had to play against one of them, Heroic in the grand finals. Be that as it may, they still won a Major and deserve to be on this list.

Besides the teams mentioned above, the only teams that can surprise us and win a Major in 2023 are Na’Vi and Vitality. Let’s be honest, both s1mple and Zyw0o can always step up and carry their teams to titles.
