As expected, Qualcomm has kicked off the registration phase of its first-ever esports tournament named Snapdragon Conquest: Free Fire Open 2020 since December 8th in India, with everybody allowed to sign up for an entrance ticket and no entry/registration fee required at all.

Those who want to register for Free Fire Open 2020 need to meet some specific requirements.

Applicants will have about two weeks to fill in their registration forms. In addition, those who want to register for Free Fire Open 2020 need to meet some specific requirements:

#2. At least 12 years old;

#3. Have a Free Fire account at Level 10 and above.

Step 2: Click on the Register Now option.

Step 3: Fill in your personal information and follow the instructions.

Step 4: Once you’ve signed up for an account successfully, you can choose to create a new Squad or join an existing one. Note that each squad only has four members in total.

Snapdragon Conquest Free Fire Open 2020: Formats and Stages

The Free Fire Open 2020 will go through three separate stages, including In-game Qualifiers, Playoffs, and League Stage.

The Free Fire Open 2020 will go through three separate stages, including In-game Qualifiers, Playoffs, and League Stage.

In-game Qualifiers

In the Qualifiers stage, all the squads have to complete 15 classic matches in Kalahari and Bermuda maps. Stats collected from the best 10 matches out of them will be taken into account, such as survival time, total squad kills, and numerous other parameters, etc., in particular situations.

The Qualifiers will be conducted within six days and after all, only 648 teams will be qualified for the next Playoffs stage.

Playoffs

648 teams from the previous stage will be split into 54 groups, meaning that we have 12 teams per group. Each of them will fight against another in direct single-match eliminations through three rounds.

The top four squads from each group will be formed into new 18 groups, and once again, the top four from these groups will repeat such progress until the final round of Playoffs, in which the top three squads from 6 groups will advance to the League Stage.

League Stage

Along with six invited teams, 18 teams chosen from the Playoffs will fight for not only the championship but also the lion's share of prize money in the League Stage, where each competitor have to try all their best while facing off against the others in four weeks with the round-robin format.
