For the final week of May, the Android platform witnessed the return of several classics, including MU Online and Wonder Boy. On top of that, we have a couple of titles that draw inspiration from popular franchises such as Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer, alongside Talion – another name that has been mentioned a lot when it comes to mobile MMORPGs in the past few months. Let’s dig in:

Warriors of Waterdeep

At first glance, Warriors of Waterdeep might look like just another autoplay gacha RPG for mobile, but that assertion is far from accurate. This turn-based RPG includes absolutely no autoplay whatsoever, and gachas are also kept to a minimum. It’s obvious that the game draws heavy inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons, with several playable classes and stories for you to entertain yourself with.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is an outstanding remake of the classic 80s platformer Wonder Boy III. Not only is it a nostalgia trip, but this game is also an incredible platforming experience in its own rights. You’ll get to transform into several animals in order to overcome various challenges. On top of that, there are two options for you to either play in the remade hand-drawn art style or the original 8-bit graphics.

Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest

Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is a new mobile strategy game set in the Warhammer universe. In this game, you actually control the forces of Chaos and have to build your own fortress and gradually expand your territory, with the ultimate goal of creating a fearsome empire to overthrow the world of Man.

Talion

Talion is a new mobile MMORPG with a dark fantasy theme that follows the same formula established by the likes of AxE or Lineage 2. It consists of all the usual features of the genre such as autoplay as well as multiple character classes and customizations.

MU Origin 2

MU Origin 2 is the latest game to be set in the MU universe. The game spent quite a long time in development, capturing the attention of many long-time fans of the franchise. Now that it’s finally here, it brings back all the familiar classes including Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf, as well as the traditional mobile MMORPG elements like dungeon raids and PvP.
