How To Clear Fog & Explore Tsurumi Island In Genshin Impact 2.2

Tsurumi Island has been added to Inazuma in the latest update 2.2. This new island is full of mist. To go through and explore this island, you need to remove the fog on this island. Check out this guide on how to remove mist and explore Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact 2.2 here.

I. How To Unlock Tsurumi Island

Tsurumi Island is very far away from previous islands in Inazuma. Therefore, you need to ride the Waverider to travel to this island. Check and navigate the Statue of Seven on this island and head to that statue. There is only one Statue of Seven on the Eastmost of this island. After unlocking the statue, the dark will be removed.

Then, you will see a Teleport waypoint near Statue of Seven that you can unlock easily. However, you cannot go further into the center of the island because of fog. The game system will notify you that you got lost in the mist and then it sends you back to the edge of the misty area. You cannot stay in the mist for more than 10 seconds.

II. How To Remove Fog On Tsurumi Island

Genshin Impact players have to do the World Quest 'A Particularly Particular Author' to remove some parts of initial mist and fog on Tsurumi Island. However, it does not help you remove the fog in Autake Plains.

You need to unlock all teleport waypoints and use the Stormstones on the island to navigate safely through the mist. It helps you avoid being teleported back when staying inside the fog too long. You should have an Electro character in your party and use his/her elemental skills or attacks to activate Stormstones.

After activating some Stormstones, you can create a safe zone around them. Then, you can continue to explore the island safely. The Stormstones scatters in the west part of the island, mainly on the Autake Plains and some stones around Shirikoro Peak. In the picture above are all locations of Stormstones on Tsurumi Island.

III. Secrets On Tsurumi Island

After creating safe zones on the misty island Tsurumi, you can explore any secrets on it. You also do some quests and unlock a domain here. Besides, this island has some new Remarkable Chests that give players furnishing blueprints to craft items in the Serenitea Pot housing system. Here are things you can explore on this new island.

#1. Shrine Of Depths

There are two Shrine Of Depths on Tsurumi Island in the south of Chirai Shrine and south of Shirikoro Peak. Use the Inazuma Shrine Of Depth Keys to open. You collect the key from Sacred Sakura's Favor, Inazuma Statue of The Seven, and Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow quest rewards. Each Shrine Of Depths has a luxurious chest with a lot of supplies to loot.

#2. Moshiri Kara Domain

Moshiri Kara Domain gives players Primogems and Electro Sigils for the first clear. You need to be at least at Adventure Rank level 40 and above to be eligible to unlock it. This domain is located on a small island around the main island of Tsurumi. You have to solve three challenges to unlock it.

#3. New Items To Collect

There are some new supplies to collect on Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact 2.2, including Star-Shaped Gems, Stone Slates, and Remarkable Chests.
