Garena has always updated Free Fire very frequently with new content to keep fans engaged... and the systems they focused on the most are probably the Characters, Weapons and Pets. They are what differentiate Free Fire from other battle royale games on the market.
However, if you are an old player who has just come back to Free Fire or a player who has only been playing casually, you might not know about these top tiers characters and weapons. In this article, we are going to list out the best Free Fire New Update Tricks. By following these Free Fire new pro tricks, you would get a better chance at getting a Booyah.
Free Fire New Update Tricks
1 - Top 5 Best Characters In Free Fire OB26
Overall, the newer the character, the better - Garena is releasing more and more top tier characters into the game.
Alok
Skill: Drop the Beat - Create a 5m aura that increases movement speed and restores HP.
Alok's skill, after all this time, remains the best ability in Free Fire. It increases the two most useful stats - HP and movement speed... for you and every ally in the radius, which is perfect for both team games and solo games.
Chrono
Skill: Time Turner - Create a barrier bubble that blocks enemies' bullets. You can shoot from behind the barrier.
Chrono, the newest character in Free Fire who's based on CR7, is going to be super overpowered. The bubble is perfect for setting up for a counterattack if you get ambushed... it is much better than a Gloo wall, as you can shoot through it while enemies cant.
Luqueta
Skill: Hat Trick - Every kill increase maximum HP, up to 35
This ability is super useful in the late game - it would charge up to max after only 2 kills at level 6. Max HP increase lets you survive a lot of things that are normally impossible like taking a headshot from a sniper rifle and still survive. Gun damage in Free Fire is balanced around characters having only 200 HP.
K
Skill: Master of All - Max EP increases by 50, with 2 modes that can be toggled. Jiujitsu Mode: Allies within 6m get 500% increase in EP conversion rate. Psychology Mode: Recover EP.
This is one of the most complicated abilities in the game. The two modes synergize with each other - one increases your EP and the other burns it for HP. Overall, when equipping K's skill, you would get a huge supply of EP and the ability to heal like Alok that you can switch to at any time.
Dasha
Skills: Partying On - Reduce damage taken and recovery time from falls. Reduce the rate of recoil buildup and maximum recoil
Dasha's skill provides players with some rare bonuses - the ability to jump down from anywhere without getting killed instantly and recoil reduction. This is extremely useful if you are going to use heavy recoil weapons like the AK or Sniper Rifles.
2 - Top 5 Best Weapons In Free Fire OB26
Overall, Sniper Rifles are still the best weapon class in Free Fire, with ARs coming close behind. You would need decent aim to use an SR, however.
Woodpecker
The best part about the M21 Woodpecker is its armor-piercing ability. With a whopping 75 points in armor penetration stat (the highest in the game), it can ignore up to 3/4 of enemies' damage reduction from armors and helmets. This would ensure its power in the late game, in which everyone would be wearing high-level gears.
The Woodpecker has the highest accuracy than any other AR or semi-auto sniper rifles in the game. With 69 points, you would be able to snipe from afar with relatively good results. You can also equip pretty much every kind of attachment on the Woodpecker as well.
AWM
The AWM used to be one of the strongest weapons... however, other newly released guns have power creeped it out. The AWM has the highest bonus damage amongst the three weapons – a headshot would kill everyone, even if they are wearing level 3 helmets.
Groza
After all this time, the Groza still remains the best weapon in the game - it can only be acquired through an airdrop. It has pretty much everything - high damage, high range, great stability, the ability to equip all attachments... Overall, if you got a Groza from your airdrop, your chance of survival would be increased exponentially.
M4A1
The M4A1 has the highest range amongst automatic Rifles along with excellent accuracy... in exchange for slightly lower damage. The reason that the M4 is rated so high is that in the late game, an M4 with all the attachments on is a beast in the last circles.
It can also be fitted with every kind of attachment to increase range and stability as well.
M82B
The newest sniper rifle added to Free Fire - the M82B definitely packs a lot of punch and is very versatile due to its numerous special abilities. It deals the same base damage as other sniper rifles with extra bonus damage to Vehicles and Gloo walls.
With the M82B, you can definitely make short work of enemies behind Gloo covers. Another bonus statistics of the M82B is that it can pierce armor - the gun would deal extra damage on body shots against targets with armor.

3 - Top 5 Best Pets In Free Fire OB26
Pets' skills in Free Fire are rather underwhelming except for these ones.
Rockie
The best pet in the game currently. Rockie's "Stay Chill" ability reduces the cooldown of all your characters' active skills. This provides a lot more value than you would expect - you can now cast your skill much more frequently than usual - everyone would like to have Alok's heal up faster.
Mr. Waggor
Mr. Waggor is one of the newest pets in Free Fire - he is a penguin wearing travel getups. Waggor's skill "Smooth Gloo" is also amongst the most useful - he would provide the player with an unlimited supply of Gloo Grenade. If the player has less than 2 Gloo Grenade in their inventory, the skill would trigger.
In the later phases of the match when the play area gets restricted, Gloo Walls are vital - the cover would save your life.
Falcon
The Falcon, when equipped, would increase the skydiving speed and glide speed of players massively. Landing first is very important in Free Fire - you get to loot the area first, and if you are fast, you would even be able to shoot the unarmed players who are still stuck in the sky. This bonus affects the whole team - you only need one person to equip the pet for the fast landing.
Detective Panda
Detective Panda blesses you with an ability similar to Jota - you would get 10 HP restored after every kill. Yes, it is just a fraction of what Jota's skill could do, but it works on every weapon and not just Shotguns and SMGs. Every point of HP matter... and healing after kills is slightly more useful than extra heal on medkit.
Ottero
Ottero is one of the most useful pet in the game. His skill "Double Blubber" would restore your EP by 50% of the HP you gain after using treatment guns and medkits - this is pretty much 150% heal, with the last 50% applies over time.
The EP gained can also be used to fuel A124 or K's skills as well - for even more heal.
